The Ballpark is Coming Along - Progress is Being Made

It sure was a great Saturday this weekend to work at the ballpark. We have completed almost all of the fencing with the backstops in progress. We will then begin the tedious tasks of cutting out the grass areas to create the infield areas of each field. Each week, more and more people show up to help and it has been fun to watch that one field transform into 3.

We really need community participation as well as the participation of those that are active with the McCalla Ball Athletic Association each year. We will play ball this year and that is what is so important in the lives of the children. I would like to invite any reader to come out and help!!!

Registration will be coming up a while after Christmas and we have a lot of work to do before then!
