People need to show up next week in droves...and raise you-know-what! I'm so sick of politicians...

I have heard that they know about the work at the Greenwood/McCalla park and see no reason why they should give up the other land.

What idiots...

Pending projects:

Also, several pending projects such as ball fields in McCalla and a fire station in Brookside come before the commission next week. Evil or Very Mad

Smoot has hinted that all pending projects could be subjected to review now that Bell oversees economic and community development and she has taken over land development from Humphryes.

I stand in awe of the society of power hungry individuals that we seem to be surrounded. None of these people seem to work for the public anymore. I hope that a time comes when their names are placed on a plate for Federal Prosecutors.

As for Humphyres & Cairnes, it is apparent to me that they took seriously their jobs to work for their districts. They have been trumped by Collins and Smoot. As it stands at the present moment, I will likely vote for Humphryes again and I will if able make a campaign contribution to whomever runs against Collins & Smoot in 2010. I am sure that the park will come up for a re-vote and we will once again not have the land that we have been promised. We need to take whatever steps necessary to protect the interest of our children.
Thanks,
